Days Like Those.

I am tired today. Its been one "of those" days. Those long days. A day were nothing seems to go right and all you seem to get is bad news. It reminds me of times I experienced in the military, especially when I was deployed. As the sun would set all you would want was a a hot meal, a good shower, and a soft bed. In reality all you had coming was a MRE (Meal Ready to Eat), a baby wipe bath and a hard cot. Its the worst way to end a day, with no relief. Its even worse as you look to your days to come there seems to be no relief in sight. It can be depressing. Let me tell you something though, those moments made me a better man. I wouldn't be the man I am today if it weren't for days like those. On that same note I wouldn't where I am today, with the wife I have if it weren't days like those. I have never enjoyed days like those in the moment, however in hindsight I am grateful for every one of them. No I don't like days like those but I do like where they take me. If you're having a day like "one of those" or a year full of them, embrace them,don't curse them. You may not like them here in the moment, that's okay, but I guarantee you will like where they take you. To days like "those". Live the adventure
